Chamlin & Associates, Inc. has provided design and construction engineering services for the original wastewater plant constructed in the early 80’s, the expansion to a 634,000 gpd extended aeration plant in 1991 and the zeolite softening water treatment plant to meet radium removal requirements in 1993. Projects were funded by EPA construction grants, a low interest loan, and city funding. This 140-acre development includes commercial sites and two-family residential areas and multi-family buildings. Planning, design and construction engineering were provided by Chamlin & Associates, Inc. The 6000’ X 100’ runway with a general aviation apron, partial parallel taxiway, corporate hanger, “T” hangers and administration building were constructed using federal and state grants as well as local funds. Chamlin & Associates, Inc. has provided the planning, design and construction engineering services for this facility from its inception in 1985. Utilizing Build Illinois Funds, Shooting Park Road in Peru, Illinois was improved from a 20’ wide ditch section roadway to a three-lane curb and gutter section with sidewalks. The improvement spanned from Peoria Street to Church Street (0.25 mi). All phases of the project were engineered by Chamlin & Associates, Inc. Chamlin & Associates, Inc. provided design and construction engineering services for construction of a new 228 stall parking lot, access roads, an 83’ long bridge with precast pre-stressed I-beams and ornamental railings, and sewer and water improvements to visitor cabins. The 7-acre lake, dam and 20-acre park in Peru, Illinois were funded with an OSLAD grant and local funds. Chamlin & Associates, Inc. provided the planning, design and construction engineering services. Since it construction in 1987, our firm has planned and designed four residential subdivisions adjacent to the lake property These six industrial sites as well as the railroad sidings, roadways and utility extensions were planned & designed by Chamlin & Associates, Inc. Funding was provided through DCCA Job Creation grants, local funds and private sources. Chamlin & Associates, Inc. provided planning, design and construction engineering services for all phases of the Lakewood Estates project. Encompassing 360 acres, Lakewood Estates provides areas for commercial development, and single and multi-family residential homes. Chamlin & Associates, Inc provided planning and design engineering services for a three span composite steel beam bridge and frontage roads paralleling the Norfolk & Southern Railroad just south of Streator Illinois. Construction of the overpass and frontage roads provides access to ambulance and fire protection services during periods when parked trains block at-grade crossings to residential areas.
